Custom Cards

Today I have a couple of custom birthday cards to share.

The first one is made with Graphic 45's A Ladies Diary. On both cards I put the recipient's name on the front and a personalized sentiment inside. How special!

The second card was made with a combination of Graphic $5's A Place In Time and Theresa Collins' World Traveler. They worked well together!

Greeting Card Flower Series With Graphic 45

Hello!

Last year I had a booth at our local 3rd Friday events. I had quite a few cards on the table, including this series made from Graphic 45's Secret Garden collection.

Raised sewn panels and loads of lace and paper flowers on all the cards as well as a generous sprinkling of Stickles glitter.

New Baby Cards!

Hello hello! I'm getting ready to add more cards to the shop and realize it's been yonks since I share here! You poor neglected blog readers. I'm shaking my head at myself.

Perhaps these pretties can make up for it?

Aren't they sweet? Each has a coordinating box, also. I used Graphic 45 "Little Darlings", a definite favorite!

4x6 Postcards for a Gallery Fundraiser

Hiya crafty peeps! The local gallery held a "Heart For The Arts" postcard fundraiser recently. I submitted 4 for the cause, and here they are!

Here are all the submissions arranged on the wall for the reception.

This was a fun project for me. All 4 of my postcards sold, which adds a little to the gallery bank account.

The Patriot Altered Tin

Hi folks! It's about time I share a few new things with you. I've been working on more shadow boxes and such lately. This is "The Patriot".

The tin once held a big bar of fancy soap. It's about 5"x3"x2". Inside are some great vintage patriotic finds. The bunting is a sort of paper-y woven ribbon. I did the accordion fold and sewed the red section together, then fanned it out. The flag is an amazing piece, as is the piper. It's worth clicking on the above phote to get a closer look at the flag. The buttons are also old, and the tatting behind "Toledo For Me" once held a pearl instead of a message.

This wooden figure was found in a jumbled box of old lead soldiers at a toy store we frequent. He is perfectly battered and aged, don't you think?

This is one of 5 pieces I have in a local gallery right now. How cool is that?

An Eerie Tale Halloween Album (Image Heavy)

Hi folks! I have a wonderful Halloween album to share with you today. I *know* I said I want to move away from albums but I still have so many prepackaged album blanks on hand and entirely too much paper. Wait, did I say that out loud? Goodness! We'll just have to pretend I didn't say that...

Speaking of album blanks, I found a great price on the old Bo Bunny "My Word" cascading albums. Because I always have to justify shipping charges, I bought 5. This is my first one.

It's made using Graphic 45's An Eerie Tale. It took up 99% of a 12x12 pad. I love how this one turned out and can't wait for it to find a new home and life breathed into it with family photos.

There are 7 individual chipboard pages instead of the original 6. I also used the chipboard packaging sheet. It was the right size! The album -- with rings -- is 14" long and 6" wide.

There are 22 single panels, 15 folded panels and 4 tags. There is quite a lot of room for family Halloween fun!
