An Eerie Tale Halloween Album (Image Heavy)

Hi folks! I have a wonderful Halloween album to share with you today. I *know* I said I want to move away from albums but I still have so many prepackaged album blanks on hand and entirely too much paper. Wait, did I say that out loud? Goodness! We'll just have to pretend I didn't say that...

Speaking of album blanks, I found a great price on the old Bo Bunny "My Word" cascading albums. Because I always have to justify shipping charges, I bought 5. This is my first one.

It's made using Graphic 45's An Eerie Tale. It took up 99% of a 12x12 pad. I love how this one turned out and can't wait for it to find a new home and life breathed into it with family photos.

There are 7 individual chipboard pages instead of the original 6. I also used the chipboard packaging sheet. It was the right size! The album -- with rings -- is 14" long and 6" wide.

There are 22 single panels, 15 folded panels and 4 tags. There is quite a lot of room for family Halloween fun!

Click the photos for larger images!

Pages 2 and 3

3 of the folded panels are found on these pages

Thankful For You Greeting Card

Hello! The third in my autumn-themed cards is up today. The sentiment on this one is "Thankful for You" and I have to say I'm thankful I found this paper line in my stash. I've had fun with it!

Turning Over A New Leaf Greeting Card, Bo Bunny Autumn Song

Hi folks! I have the second card using Bo Bunny's newly-discovered-in-my-stash Autumn Song. Sometimes it's like finding treasure in this studio...

There are musical notes in the background of a lot of the Autumn Song papers. Here I've used a painted Dusty Attic music notes chipboard to help sing the song of change.

Thanks for stopping in today! I'll have one more Autumn card tomorrow. All the Autumn-themed cards and Halloween cards are available in my Killam Creative Paper Etsy shop now!

Susan

Be Awesome Today! Greeting Card

Hello hello! As I was pulling out Christmas papers for the next round of cards, I got distracted by Bo Bunny's Autumn Song. I have no idea how long it's been here... but it's awfully pretty! I have three cards to share with you and the first one is today.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I'll have two more Autumn-themed cards over the next few days. They are all available for purchase in my Killam Creative Paper Etsy shop!

Butterfly Tag

Hello hello! I hope your day is treating you well. Like most of the US, we're suffering through another cold snap. The high temperature forecast is 21F.

Ugh.
Whine.
Whimper.

Enough of that! Here's another tag made especially for a Very Nice Lady. Perhaps it will scoop you up out of the winter doldrums and gently place you in late spring, with flowers blooming and the first few butterflys flitting about.

The butterflies are layered for a 3D effect, and have homemade antennae

And the whole tag:

Oh how I love this one!

I'm currently finishing up an Artist Trading Block Swap over on Craftster. Once it's done I'll ship to Canada and post it here after my partner receives. I can't wait to show you!

Thanks for stopping in today!

Cheers,
Susan

Tilda's Ice Cream Cone

Hiya folks! We've had gorgeous weather here on the East Coast that's been leaning a bit toward crisp fall temperatures. I'm not quite ready for the cold so I'm going to imagine hot sunshine for an excuse to enjoy a yummy ice cream cone with Tilda!

These vibrant colors are found on Bo Bunny's "Vicky B" collection. I love the brightness of orange, pink and lime!

This sweet Magnolia Tilda was colored with Prismacolor pencils and layered up for that 3D effect. The crochet flower -a gift from a dear friend- adds a great touch of texture. You can imagine the butterfly and ladybug charms coming to life and flitting around this lovely little garden!

An extension of the "garden" is found inside along with an area for a sweet sentiment!

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you have a gorgeous day!

Cheers,
Susan

The Best Laid Plans of Mice and Men...

...Often go astray.    (Thank you, Robert Burns)

Hello hello! How about another Easter-themed card? I wanted to share all of them before Easter, but, you know, life got in the way. *wink*

This is made with Bo Bunny's Vicky B paper pad. Lovely bright colors! Looks like Tilda is having fun painting all the eggs.

The stripey panel on the right is permanent - it doesn't pull out or anything. I'm not sure what I was thinking except I knew I wanted to see the stripes. As a result, I had to make the gift box rectangular instead of square. No big deal!

I'm not sure if you can see the glossy effect on the top left circle panels (front and inside). I covered the circles with Glossy Accents and set coordinating Dew Drops (remember those?) in the wet GA. It's a neat effect!

Thanks for visiting today. I'll try to share all Easter cards this week -- two left on the computer and more still on the camera. Yikes! Anyway, fun fun fun!

Cheers,
Susan

Bo Bunny Gabrielle Mini Album

Hiya folks! So I finally finished this chunky 6x6 album and want to share it with you today. The base is very sturdy acrylic, although you don't see any of it. Ever square millimeter is covered with the GORGEOUS Bo Bunny Gabrielle paper or paint. I used a combination of 12x12 paper designs and the 6x6 pad. There is also a lot of machine sewing throughout - great for texture!

Flowers throughout are Prima, Wild Orchid, Petaloo, Dusty Attic and who knows what other manufacturers. Haha! There are a lot of them - both in this album and in my stash!

The butterflies are layered and the wings are bent up. You can see it better in the first photo. The antenna are handmade using black jewelry wire dipped in glue. Once dried they were dipped in glossy black paint.

The first two pages have two removable photo mats and more flowers.

Pages 3 and 4 have large mats topped with frilly cotton crochet.

Pages 5 and 6; the large butterfly on the left is layered and glittered all over. Pretty!

Pages 7 and 8 - two mats on the right, one large mat on the left with a separate journaling card.

Pages 9 and 10 have two tags and two large mats.

The back page coordinates with the rest!

Thanks so much for stopping by today - I really appreciate it!

Cheers,
Susan

{WIP} Butterfly Mini Album

Hiya friends! When I needed to start a new project last week I stood in front of the paper wall and waited until something jumped out at me. As I looked at the shelves and stacks of paper collections I focused in on the pack of Bo Bunny Gabrielle. I originally bought it to make an album, so an album I made.

Sort of...

It's been a while since my last big album and I forgot how much of a labor of love it is to complete. This one is 6 pages and has around 16 photo mats. I adore this paper collection and am so glad I saved it for the album. All the details aren't finished, but when it's complete I'll post it. I think I'm going to recuperate a bit first. :)

That's it for me - sorry to be a mini album tease.... :)

Cheers,
Susan

TBS DT: June Sketch

Hello crafty friends! It's another Monday - oh, how does the weekend go so fast? It was a beautiful one here, and we took advantage and trimmed trees and weeded. I hated the work but love the results!

This week the Beary Scrap design team is showing samples using our current Beary Sweet Sketch Challenge. We're adding a little extra element to our projects in the form of seam binding.

Here's my take on the sketch. I wasn't sure about the sketch at first, but fell in love with it as I pulled the Bo Bunny Vicky B papers together. There are so many wonderful designs in this 6x6 paper stack that I had no problem at all. I adore these colors!

I used the wooden dragonfly from Pink Paislee's Butterfly Garden collection (currently sold out in the store - sorry!). I gave it a base coat of pearly white and pink acrylic paints and then painted the body and part of the wings with glue, then sprinkled copper German Glass Glitter. On the wing tips I used the German Glass Glitter in white, with an itty bitty bit of Star Dust Stickles on the very ends.

The pink brads are from My Mind's Eye Madison Ave and the green swirl brad in the flower is from the We R Memory Keepers "Inspiration" Eyelet & Snap set.

The mulberry paper roses were spritzed with a light green Glimmer Mist and touched with Star Dust Stickles. The  crocheted flower is an Etsy find from an awesome seller called Willowfolk and the decorative pins are from my new Killam Creatables line (available on Etsy!).

TBS DT: Nature's Flutters

Hello hello and happy Monday to you! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I had a birthday... and it was good. *wink*

So, this is Week 2 of our Beary Sweet Nature Challenge, where you can enter any project that you think conjures up "nature" in your noggin. As a bonus challenge to the design team, we have to include a charm in our project. Easy enough!

Kimm just got this fun filmstrip ribbon into the store, and I decided to use that as my jumping-off point. Here's what happened when it all landed:

CLP DT: #30 Halloween

Hello hello! So happy to see another month roll around... er, that doesn't sound right, 'specially since time flies faster the older I get. Let's rephrase that, shall we?

Hello hello! So happy to show you another CLP challenge. The first of the month is always exciting, and this one even more so since we have a  fabby challenge sponsor: Spesch Designer Stamps! It was wayyy cool to play with the new release - I used the Halloween girl digi created by Max. Thanks, Tracey, for letting us play with your adorable images!

Isn't she delicious? (Haha, if I do say so myself...) I love her so much it's almost painful. Really! The colors on the Bo Bunny and 7 Gypsies papers are a perfect foil for her wild pumpkin skirt. The layering turned out well - next time I use her I'll add another hat layer. I do love my layers!

Here is Chelsea's gorgeous sketch. Doesn't it get your creative juices flowing?

So, how can you play along? Use Chelsea's CLP #30 sketch for your project and upload it HERE by October 31st. You could win 4 digital images from Spesch Designer Stamps!
