Hello creative friends! I have a new Alpha Stamps project to share with you today. I fall in love with gorgeous papers, and Stamperia's Azulejos Tiles Collection Pack is my newest obsession. There is so much to love, but this project showcases many of the beautiful Mediterranean-style tiles.
I used the 6x6 shadow box without the cubby holes (save them for later!). Notice that I've outlined on what looks like the packaging of traditional scrapbook paper pads?
It's actually the last page of the Azulejos pad - all pages including front and back covers are card stock and perfectly usable!
Each tile is about 1 5/8" square. Before the final straight-edge cuts, I glued them to thin board to give them a little umph. Then used a paper cutter to make the nice straight edges.
To raise them off the back of the shadow box, I adhered mini spools with E-6000. The next day I attached the tiles with the same adhesive, starting in the middle and working my way around. I eyeballed the placement to get them as equidistant as possible.
I paired each tile with a coordinating Stickles and went to town! Once all that was dry I gave each tile a coat of Glossy Accents for a bit of shine.
